Debbie Thackray
Director
Debbie Thackray is a Certified SAP Project Manager and part of the ownership and management team at AEC (Pty) Ltd. Debbie holds a BCom degree in Accounting and Business Management and is a PMBOK Certified Project Manager. Debbie has over 20 years SAP experience which includes SAP Project Management, SAP FI/CO and SAP CFM consulting.

Debbie has managed various SAP Implementation Projects in Banking, Treasury, Logistic, & Manufacturing industries as well as SAP Upgrades, and Data Migrations. Debbie is also actively involved in Portfolio and Project Management for both SAP and business projects across AEC’s (Pty) Ltd client base.
Debbie has over 19 years of management experience ranging from Divisional Operations Manager; where she was responsible for Customer Relations; Credit approval, Divisional Operational Risk Management, SAP FI/CO Team Management; (she was responsible for all FI team projects and support at Nedbank); as well as SAP Project and Integration Manager for Nedbank LTD; responsible for Planning, Directing, and coordinating the integration activities for all SAP Projects.

Debbie was the 2014 Winner of the Business Women Association of South Africa, KZN Regional Business Achiever Awards in the Emerging Entrepreneur Category.
Stephen Lathe
Director
Stephen Lathe is a Master Level SAP FI/CO Consultant at AEC (Pty) Ltd who is experienced in SAP FI/CO, SAP CO/PCA/PA, SAP MM, SAP TRM, SAP Banking, SAP VMS/DBM, SAP PM, SAP Basis, Archiving and ABAP. Stephen has over 20 years of SAP experience including multiple Implementations, Upgrades, Data Migrations and Support. He has extensive experience as a Project Manager and has been involved with multiple key clients, including Robertsons/Unilever, Burger King Europe, BoE, Nedbank Ltd, SANRAL, AVI, Bell Equipment, SPAR, TTAF, Vector Logistics, RCL Consumer Foods & RCL Sugar & Milling.

Stephen has extensive management experience. He has worked as the SAP Systems Manager for Burger King Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA), reporting to the EMA Vice President of Finance & Strategy, as well as the SAP Support & Operations Manager at Nedbank Ltd, where he was responsible for all R3 Functional Support, Daily Operations Management and Basis Management.

Stephen forms part of the ownership and management team at AEC (Pty) Ltd, with a principal role as Consulting Services Director, focused on the design and implementation of SAP solutions. Stephen also has a key focus on SAP’s Rapid Deployment Solutions across industries.

Maria Moto
CRM and Project Manager​
Maria Moto is a PRINCE 2 certified project manager and part of the management team at AEC (Pty) Ltd. She holds a BSc Degree as a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA, CGMA). She has over 18 years business experience gained in the Banking, Manufacturing and IT sectors with a wealth of experience in Finance, Treasury and Project Management. She has been involved in the management of a SAP upgrade of a manufacturing company, resourcing for a SAP rollout project across 4 countries and several module implementation projects.
Maria currently focuses on Client Relationship Management, Support Desk Management, and Project Management across AEC’s (Pty) Ltd client base. Maria is also involved in FI, Masterdata and Treasury support.

Maria was the winner of the CIMA Global Distance Learning Student of the year Award (2011).
Warren Thomas
Head - Consulting Services
Warren Thomas holds a BCom degree in Financial Management, a certificate in Banking from the Institute of Bankers and is a certified SAP FI (TFIN50 & TFIN52) consultant. He has over 16 years’ experience on SAP as both a user and SAP FI / CO consultant. Warren has worked both locally for companies such as Nedbank and Izazi Solutions as an FI / CO consultant and in New Zealand for UXC Oxygen, where he worked on projects for Christchurch City Council, and DB Breweries. He has also been involved in a complete Kenyan implementation for CBA.

As the Principle SAP FI / CO consultant at AEC (Pty) Ltd, Warren currently provides Adhoc support and project work for Gelvenor, Toyota Tsusho Africa, Nedbank Limited, SPAR, Vector Logistics, RCL Group, Bell Equipment and Decofurn.
